| Andrew WheelerPrincipalAndrew Wheeler is the Principal of Wheeler Family Law, which he established in March 2015. Andrew focusses exclusively on family law (including family violence). Prior to establishing Wheeler Family Law, Andrew worked in a suburban firm with a broader litigation/disputes focus, including family law but also employment law and civil litigation. Andrew has extensive experience and expertise in all areas of family law, including complex property settlements, parenting matters including relocation and international child abduction, family violence and child abuse, spousal maintenance and child support, and everything in between. Having practised for many years as a solicitor-advocate, Andrew regularly appears on behalf of clients at all interim stages in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria. Not only does this provide clients with excellent representation, it often saves the added expense of engaging a barrister for most stages of a family law matter. Along with care and compassion, Andrew provides expert legal and practical advice, helping clients navigate through very challenging and stressful times. Outside of the office, Andrew is actively involved in a local Christian church, having served for many years in various roles, including elder, lay-preacher and Chairman of Church Council. He is also currently serving as a director of the Reformed Theological College. Andrew is a keen classical and jazz musician, and he enjoys spending time with his family.
